Dreamy Engagement Session at the UC Berkeley Botanical Garden

This engagement session at the UC Berkeley Botanical Gardens is romantic and ethereal. The light was coming through the redwoods perfectly and provided us the dreamy backlighting you see in the photos below. For the second half of the session, we chose to take some more engagement photos at the Emeryville Pier.
At the Berkeley Botanical Garden, you are presented with a lush forest that could be straight out of a movie. If you want your photos to be light and airy, despite being in a dark forest, try wearing lighter colors and flowy fabric like Jessie's long white dress in the photos below.
You can get beautiful waterside engagement photos with views of San Francisco at the Emeryville Pier. The park surrounding the pier is very well maintained and the rocks around the water are a lovely backdrop for photos. Wondering what to wear for a coastal engagement session? As you will probably agree after seeing the photos, a bright and solid color like red contrasts wonderfully with the light grays and blues of the scenery.
